The Chateaux were amazing but it was great to also see some lovely little towns and villages and the lovely market at Vendome. We also really enjoyed the visits to some out of the way places such as the frescoed church, Fontevraud and the little chapel where we heard about Eleanor of Aquitane & Richard the Lionheart – that was fascinating. Thank you for a great trip, we will be back.
