Remember that rooms in Paris can be smaller than what we are used to in Australia, and more expensive for the size! Hotels are more expensive in popular and central areas than in outer suburbs. Very few hotels of any standard offer tea/coffee making facilities, as French culture is based around the “café society”! Also, remember that bathrooms throughout France generally offer a bath with a shower attachment, rather than “stand alone” showers.
