Four star hotels in Paris can be expected to include the following facilities:
- En-suite bathrooms
- Television/Satellite Television
- Direct Dial Phone
- Breakfast room and often a restaurant
- Room Service
- Concierge/Porter Service
- Some but not all are air conditioned
- Some but not all have internet connection
Remember that rooms in Paris can be smaller than what we are used to in Australia, and more expensive for the size! Hotels are more expensive in popular and central areas than in outer suburbs. Very few hotels of any standard offer tea/coffee making facilities, as French culture is based around the “café society”! Also, remember that bathrooms throughout France generally offer a bath with a shower attachment, rather than “stand alone” showers.
