This tour incorporates the highlights of Provence described in the previous itinerary, with five nights on the beautiful French Riviera. In this region you will discover the remarkable landscape of mountains which lead right down to the sea and the incredibly blue water after which the coast is named.

Famous towns such as Nice and St Tropez are synonymous with the “jetset”, but the Cote d’Azur also boasts charming hill villages such as St Paul de Vence and Eze, complete with exquisite views; the fascinating principality of Monaco with the wonderful Grimaldi Palace, old port and casino; and the magnificent Villa Ephrussi Rothschild, the most beautiful palazzo on the Riviera with its nine wonderful gardens and artworks collected from all over the world.

We are now offering two different standards of accommodation on this tour, to offer two different choices of tour cost. On our May/June tour, the accommodation offered in Paris, Provence and Nice will be three star standard. Several of the unches/dinners offered will be of three star instead of four star standard.

On our September Tour, the accommodation offered in Paris and Nice will be four star standard (in Nice – superior sea view rooms overlooking the Baie des Anges) and the accommodation in Provence three star standard.

On both tours, the accommodation in Provence is our wonderful & charming boutique hotel in the beautiful village of Fontaine-de-Vaucluse.
